Upon receiving a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Nebraska, Frank Dudek went on to earn his master’s at OSU. He spent two years with the Parsons Company in Dacca, Bangladesh, designing and building water and wastewater systems.
Dudek spent the next three years as a regulator with the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board. In 1980, he founded Dudek, a California-focused engineering and environmental consulting firm. As president, he is responsible for overseeing strategic planning and financial performance of the 220-person staff.
Dudek has also been involved in several professional organizations, serving as the past local chapter president of the American Public Works Association and the California Water Environment Association. He was a director of his local American Society of Civil Engineers chapter and a sustaining member of the Society of American Military Engineers, the Building Industry Association, WateReuse Association, Water Environment Federation, and the Orange County Water Association.
